Tensions between Isreal and Iran have been rising steadily over the last decade. The relationship between Isreal and Iran has slowly been collapsing over the last month. The US has been attempting to place sanctions on Iran without getting any approval from China and Russia who hold the veto power and have used it to prevent such sanctions. The current relationship between Isreal and Iran could be summarized in this statement.
"The possibility of a military attack against Iran is now closer to being applied than the application of a diplomatic option," Mr Peres told the Israel Hayom daily. "We must stay calm and resist pressure so that we can consider every alternative."
"I don't think that any decision has already been made, but there is an impression that Iran is getting closer to nuclear weapons," Shimon Peres said.

The outcome of an attack on Isreal could lead to WW3 if the US gets involved with aiding Isreal. Iran will be supported by China and Russia. The pawns of the world superpowers are facing each other on the geo-political battlefield.
We can only hope that our leaders will choose not war but peace to usher us into the next century. There has been an increased effort in promorting war propaganda through video games, television, and movies. Take battlefield 3 for instance in this game you are a US marine invading Tehran. This is an obvious attempt at persuading the public into supporting Isreal and demonizing Iran. The outcome of either nation going to war would spark military skirmishes between NATO, Russian, and Chinese forces these conflicts would be likely to escalate into a full blown World War.
As most Americans sit and immerse themselvers deeply into the mainstream media and other counterproductive hobbies there are few who have been inplugged from the sleep machine and research important information.
It is possible tht Russia, China and even some people in the Pentagon will prevent an attack on Iran?

I can't speak for all of the people in the U.S., but some of us are aware of the propaganda being promoted by the major media sources. And we tend to avoid these.
ReplyDeleteI believe you are correct in that a war between Israel and Iran will include the U.S. And such a war would be a horrible crime upon the people of Iran. Our hands are already drenched in Iraqi, Afghani and Libyan blood. It is not an easy thing to face.
And if there is, at the very least, the threat of Russian and Chinese involvement, we can hope that this will prove a sufficient deterrent.
I can only hope that cooler, smarter heads will prevail. And there is still the possibility that the only sane voice in the foreign policy aspect, Ron Paul could get elected.
